Flashed MHD a week ago after a year code free and this happened
Pulled over due to overheating, water pump was done before I bought the car. Not sure what's going on. Any help?

First things first, did you have your android device in airplane mode with bluetooth and location off when flashing? The one time I had a problem with an MHD flash was because I forgot to turn on airplane mode, and since you have a dme:no coding error, plus a lot of those codes look unrelated and you didn't specify how soon after flashing it was maybe you just had a faulty flash.
Aside from that, the misfires could be due to your plugs if they're still a year old or your coils - higher performance requires better health from your engine which is why it's recommended to do those things before flashing. Failing those two things, maybe it's a blown fuse or a ground/wire problem somewhere. You have the MSD81 so bad mosfets in your DME isnt likely and I'd still say you should start your way at the top of this post and work down to diagnose.

Do you have proof the water pump was done before you bought it? If so, do you know if it was a brand new one and not used or an old PN? My guess is the pump and/or tstat failed causing the overheating and the heat caused your misfires, although I'd still recommend swapping out your coils and plugs anyway.
I know it seems like a lot (and it will be if you go to the dealer) but for the coils and plugs you can get a bundle on FCPEuro for ~200 and do it yourself in an hour or two, water pump and tstat you could do the same or have a good local indy do it for significantly less (the mechanic I use charges 95/hr labor, the dealer near me is 250+ last I checked two years ago) and once you get all that done your car will be good to go for a long while. The N54 is a good example of the classic BMW syndrome where you need to stay ahead of maintenance but the car will last forever and be very rewarding if you do. |

Looks like its turbo related to me being that you have misfires in the rear bank. could have shot the rear turbo. How many miles? any waste gate rattle?

I mean it could just be a coincidence but it’s related to one bank because 4,5,6 all misfired. Could also be O2 sensors. Just my thoughts

yeah but the I'd me more concerned with an entire bank misfiring than a water pump.

I would flash completely back to stock, clear the codes and then take it easy for a few miles and see what pops up again. Typically an entire bank misfiring is due to a bad 02 sensor. Is the car overheating? I’ve seen those codes before when a water pump was swapped but the prior codes not cleared. The fuel pump code is common and nothing to worry about.

Ive heard of pumps going in a short time/miles.
Also, when I changed my pump recently, the harness insulation right at the point where the plug enters the pump was bare. I was able to use liquid tape and then wrap tightly with electrical tape. I recommend checking that first, as some folks have lost pump functionality when the insulation goes, eventually causing the wires to spate from the plug. If that's not it, do the purge procedure (check youtube) to make sure your pump is still operating, if not could be the thermostat. You mentioned the pump was changed but didn't mention the thermostat. |

The DME power management error tells me there is more to that story there; I would look into voltage / power issues for DME, most likely the other errors are a by-product, not a root cause.
As others said, flash back to stock, reset all adaptations, and drive it like that for a while; fix all problems before coming back to boosted map. |
