Rear wiper design

Anyone else thinks this looks unfinished? I could be crazy but up close this bothers me, wish the plastic extended full length of wiper. Anyone seen anything different out there to provide a cleaner look?

Thanks !!

That is pretty common now on BMWs. I actually think it looks better then the old rear wiper style.

Mine is quiet, but I did have experience of a noisy rear wiper on my previous Audi Q3. It turned out that the blade wasn't quite properly 'seated' (for want of a better word) in its backing holder, but when adjusted it fixed the issue. Just lift the blade away and look see if you haven't already done so. I imagine it could easily be knocked out of alignment when washing the rear window area.

I had a friend make the same observation of it looking not finished...I hadn't noticed...but what I do notice is the top 1-2" of the wiper path at the end smears

Bosch has been the OEM supplier to BMW for wiper blades for as long as I can remember...ordered a set for both my vehicles and they are Bosch...I think Bosch makes an "Aero" blade with a more streamlined look...is that what you installed?...If so, can you give us the part #...I'd like to take a look since the blade sets I have are only the matched set for the windshield...no rear X1 blade.

Yes it's a Bosch Aero blade the OEM front and rear were non Bosch when the car was new, I replaced all the blades because the front would not wipe a clear screen and the rear made a horrible scrapping noise at each wipe.
