M performance wing price?
Sup bros,
So just came back from dealer asked about price to put on the m performance wing, this is the ONLY thibg my sweetheart brand new 2018 m2 is missing (week old) It has the smaller spoiler on it now, but id want to get that taken off and put on this: https://mediapool.bmwgroup.com/cache...2015-600px.jpg So the guy tells me, with parts and labour combined they would do it for over 5k! I know thats a ripoff, 1) Would anybody know what the oem part alone costs??? 2) Also anyone recommend a trusted shop that deals with high end cars in the gta?? Who have lots of experience with bmws? (Preferably west of mississauga) that would install that for me for decent price?? 3) Also do would you keep the smaller carbon fibre spoiler? Or go with the above wing? Whats your thoughts? |

There is a seller at the member classified forum US 2,100 ;http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1508712 DTM wings are not yet available for M2. Only for F8X M3/M4. Will be available later this year. Current listing price of DTM wing for M3/M4 on shopbmwusa.com is US 3,000 https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/6...OUGH-REAR-WING Price for M2 DTM wing will be around the same. 1) As you mentioned, considering the bad exchange rate, will be well over US 4,000 if you buy them directly from dealer. Installation will not cost much. Installation time list is showing 1 hour. (Take it as 2 hours maximum. However, DO NOT LET DEALERS INSTALL. I would recommend to find a reliable and good shop in your town to get this done) Wait for few weeks or maybe a month, there will be sellers available in US. Buy the wing from them and ask them to state the value 1/10 of the price when shipping so that you wont be paying much duty + tax. Decent shop will charge you maximum CAD 400 for installation. 2) Few shops that I can recommend at west GTA. Burning Rubber Tire & Speed http://burning-rubber.ca/ Johnston Research & Performance http://www.jrponline.com/ Bimmersport Automotive http://www.bimmersport.ca/ Columbus Automotive Service (No website) 3) If I were to get DTM wing (which i am in planning to get once available), I would definitely remove the lip spoiler. Keeping it along with the wing is just too much for me. Also you can sell it to get some money back as well. But that is just my personal preference.
