Outstanding video. Really shows the differences between the two cars. Like he said, maybe the Comp Pack will be bring the "edge" back to the F90, but you can certainly see the M6 is still no slouch and he seemed to enjoy driving it more at certain moments than the F90 and vice versa.

Redacted.

Just wish I had an Autobahn to really stretch out the legs like he does. Love it.

Thanks for sharing!

The M6 GC remains sex on wheels IMHO.

I am starting to get second thoughts on whether I want to move from my M6 GC to the M5 F90. If it really is as the reviewer said (more wallowy and less "Sporty", although much more refined), I might stay with the M6 GC or move to the 63 S. I think the M6 GC is one of the most brilliant cars BMW has made on the last decade.

Keep it until the M5 Comp comes out and see what you think then?

That's a tough choice man. You can't really lose with any of those.

First week of July. Its taking ages for the F90 M5 to hit the showroom floors in my side of the Pond. First cars arrived in March and have been stuck at the port so far. The BMW event for the launch has been postponed twice. It was first postponed by the Trucker's strike here, now it has been postponed by problems to unload the M5 F90's here.

I have a friend who bought the W213 E 63 S. We will be going together in a convoy to see the M5 and collect our impressions.

Since me and my friend are "potential" buyers and we have cars that are in their target of site, I think we will get to have a pretty prolonged drive. I will also get to drive the E 63 back to back. It will be interesting

M5 Comp is not coming to Brazil. They never bring Competition Package cars here. Don't know or understand why that is the case

True story, brother.

All these cars are pretty darn capable. Can't go wrong with any.

The only thing he got wrong was that he said the M6 with the Comp Pack makes 600hp. Other than that, spot on video.

Doesn’t the m6 with comp pack make 600hp?

Edit:

Actually, the 2016-2018MY Comp Pack M6 do have 600hp. Also the M6 Competition Edition also has 600hp. The 2014-2015MY M6 Comp Packs only made 575hp.

F90 with AWD obviously can use the power more effectively and efficiently so it depends on your driving style. For me it's mostly high speed rolling so F90 doesn't attract me as much since at high speed the F90 doesn't seem like it is much quicker (from 200 km/h and on).

Yep that’s correct I’m not sure if some early LCI comp pack Euro spec cars were 575ps, they were available with comp pack right at the start of LCI production and all the brochures said 575ps initially. The US market had about a 4 month gap at the start of the LCI where you could order a 560ps car but nothing else. Then 600ps became available at the same time Euro brochures were updated.

Either way, we all know the important part is the suspension and steering changes rather than the extra power!
