interesting they said BMW has nothing in this segment (and didn't mention the X3M/X4M about to come out).

crazy 0-60 times for heavy SUVs (3.3 seconds), 5-60 street starts not as impressive though at 4.2 (I think the non CP M3 was tested 3.9 0-60 & 4.2 5-60 by C&D)

I would love to have the Alfa on my list but the cheap interior is a huge turn off when you are spending over $80K for a car.
I am really hopeful the X3M/X4M will be right with these guys since the weights are pretty high on all the cars tested. The Jaguar F Pace could also make this segment even more intense.
