Hi, any Client Advisors here who can confirm that M850i is subject to allocation? My CA said that they only have 1 allocated therefore they don't want to give it for EuroDel. Is it because of it being new or would the allocation get relaxed next year by June. My i8 lease is up in Mar and would like ED in May/June. Any insight or advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sure. I'm still waiting to confirm if the allocation is for the early builds or will it extend into 2019. Secondly, if the proposed/threatened tariff of 25% goes active, it will definitely sway me away from this purchase. Hoping it is just a tactic, but we'll soon know.

BMW is giving every dealer one. Maybe later in the year as we get more allocations you will be able to do ED>

You actually can't get this car ED. Each dealer is given a "launch supply" car. Future allocation isn't out yet, so you'll just have to wait a little while.

@mptpa give it a year and ED will be available. As mentioned above, Centers are receiving 1 allocation and will probably sell above MRSP, but it will be a limited market for the 1%'ers. For example, the F80/82/83 wasn't available for ED the 1 year of US market availability, as demand outstripped supply, once the market equalizes, then ED will be available. On the horizon is the GC, cabrio- figure once these are available ED will open up and the beast M8 should be teased next year, which will drop M850 demand somewhat. Hang in there.

PS don't worry about the 25% tariff, the US and EU will work it out; also smaller US companies are starting to lay off employees/shut down factories, so the White House will have to reverse course.

Yep that will happen sooner. F82 was available for ED in yr 1; I ordered mine and picked it up in 2014 at the Welt. And I paid $500 above EU invoice too. But as you say, once cabrio and GC are imminent, demand for M850 would be softer We shall see.
