I gave up on trying to install my H&R Sport Springs. They are brand new.

I'll sell for $195 + shipping.

Just a reference for my reputation, my user id on ebay is dimapower - 1300+ transactions and 100% positive feedback.

Just curious, how will this effect my non-sports suspension by installing these springs? Probably have to replace the shocks eventually?

Im interested depending on this.

I installed springs for the first time in my 2005 Accord with no problems, so I thought I could do them on my 330i. The 330i is much more challenging. I would pay to get it done, but this car is going away later this year. It doesn't make sense to pay to put them on then pay to take them off 8 months later.

There's a thread with pics only. The E46 DIYs I've seen won't work because you need to compress the E90 rear springs, unlike on the E46, to remove or install them.

I took apart the rear suspension last night to verify this. DON'T GIVE UP! I think it would be easy with the right tools that every autozone rents out for cheap. The rear needs an internal spring compressor, and the front uses a strut type dual bolt setup.

I'll be sure to take pics and post a full DIY this weekend.

Please post the diy. The front struts need to be compressed to provide enough clearance to remove the assembly from from the front control arms.

btw, the springs are sold.
