Anyone use the Costco $2500 member incentive on a M5 lease/purchase?

I noticed Costco has a $2500 incentive off 2018 and 2019 M5's if you're a current Costco member. Looks like it replaces the otherwise BMW owner loyalty incentive...but apparently the Costco incentive doesn't require you to own a current BMW (only to have owned one at some point in the past). And if you've never owned a BMW you can still get $1500 off a M5.

Curious if anyone has used it with success? Also, what other incentives did they stack with this? Military/USAA? BMWCCA? Any others?

Should work. But the exact amount may depend on zip code. It's a little less in my neck of the woods. Also, there's a validity period.

Good to know. I thought it replaced the BMW owners loyalty program. Did you get that in addition to the BMW loyalty incentive?

What other incentives did you stack as part of your purchase?

Is the costco discount through the BMW dealer or through costco?

I just went to the Costco website and searched "BMW"...it takes you to the incentive page. You just have to fill in your Costco member number and a few other items and you can then print the page that you take to the dealer for the discount. The actual incentive/discount comes from BMW is my understanding.

Anyone care to post their knowledge of all available incentives and rebates that can be applied (ie Costco, Loyalty, BMW CCA)? It would be really helpful knowing which ones can be combined with which to see the max available discount we can squeeze.

Just got mine Friday. As far as I know you cannot combine loyalty with Costco etc. Also cannot combine BMW CCA with fleet. So personally I just got loyalty plus will get the CCA for a total of $3k.

You can combine fleet and BMW CCA. You should get at least $3500

Keep in mind, the eligibility from Costco says that the 2019 M5 Competition is excluded.

Where do you see that? These are the terms I see:

"BMW Pre-Owned vehicles, BMW Company Vehicles, Extended Test Drive, Shuttle or Limo, and Retired Service Loaner Vehicles are not eligible. The Corporate Fleet incentive cannot be used in conjunction with (CCA) Car Club of America Program, Group Partner & Family Program, European Delivery Program, Diplomatic and Embassy Program, Military Sales Program (USAA), Limousine & Hotel Shuttle Program and / or VIP Purchase Program. Previously reported vehicles with more than 300 miles are not eligible."

at:

https://www.bmwgroupfleet.com/models/m-series

BTW the Costco program is also scheduled to end on 9/3. Also fleet looks like will end 10/1 - there is a dealer bulletin circulating around about these with a note that BMW will redesign program in 2019.

I thought the same thing too (and it was the case when I got my M5). But when I checked the CCA site, I think something just changed last month:

"Please note: Vehicles retailed with an Corporate Fleet Discount prior to 7/5/18 cannot be combined with the BMW CCA rebate program."

The check does come from BMW NA though, the fleet site is BMWs and specifically says cannot be combined. Has anybody tried it to confirm?

If this is the case and they can be combined I missed it too (and it was just a few days ago) but at least we will know for the future!

I believe the Costco cannot be combined with BMW loyalty. Also, isn't the fleet discount only $500? If so, CCA is a better route. There is also a military/USAA discount that I think is $1000.

I combined loyalty with costco on M3
got 3000 BMWFS lease credit
1000 loyalty credit for trade in M2
500 costco credit. The costco credit does come from BMW not from costco.

To clarify, in the past you could not combine fleet and bmw cca. Starting 7/5/18 you can. You can verify this on bmw cca website.

No - the Costco certificate I have printed out says it can't be combined with fleet or military.
