Get these instead, they're take a bit more effort to install but have them on my car and they rock...
Just need to tap power from the light in each foot well. Took about an hour. They don't state that they're for F32 but they just mount with VHB 3M, so they should still work. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Last edited by brikabrak; 08-30-2018 at 02:29 PM.. |

No longer available, however.....
They are no longer available for the F32 unless second hand buying, however the M2 illuminated sills fit no problem, I have them on my F32 and they look great, they are battery operated via the magnet, however the magnet supplied was not deep enough so had to add some depth accordingly, but yes they work!
Hope it helps. By the way do not buy the cheap chinese fake crap, I did and they looked ok but not good, they are prone to marks and scratches, and failure along with FRM module faults. |

They're not waterproof, which eventually results in the circuitry corroding. Mine on the driver's side died, but the passenger side was OK, as that door is seldom opened. I swapped them over, waterproofing the one from the passenger side before putting it on the driver side. BTW, the Chinese stuff isn't all fake. Some comes from the factory that made the originals for BMW, right down to the packaging. BMW might not be selling them but there's still stock on the shelves in China at 1/3 the BMW price. Waterproof them by filling the channel on the top with silicone sealant.
There does seem to be a newer version from BMW. Maybe they fixed the leaking gasket? |
