help! OEM oil cooler.

my 2008 e90 335i with sport package didn't come with a oil cooler. is that normal?
and how much is it to purchase the stock oil cooler?
and when i went to go to the BMW dealership, they said it didn't come with an oil cooler. and that i had to buy it myself.

sorry if this is in the wrong section.

What's the build date on yours? I believe they didn't make the oil cooler standard on the sport pack 335 until after the March 2007. Prior to that date some came with it, some didn't.

You only need the 18" wheel option on the XI sport package. To the OP, do you have MT or Step? Are you positive you don't have the oil cooler, because I have not heard of 335i with sport pkg. built past March '07 that does not have one.

Head over to Dinancars.com They have one of the best oil coolers out there. It runs for $2300 and will preserve the life of your engine greatly. I plan on getting one with my stage 1 chip.

Or this one:

http://www.bmracing.com/s.nl/it.A/id...&category=6173

It says "automatic transmission oil cooler" but it's a universal application. Should fit in the same area as the OE oil cooler (behind the front right wheel well).
