Run flats?

Are the Michelin PSS on our cars run flats? My service advisor insists they are, and they are not covered by the tire/rim insurance I pay for!

In Canada, the PSS tyres are currently non-runflats when “performance tyres” are selected. The PSS is available in some sizes as a runflat, but the BMW “*” marked sizes for the 2-series don’t seem to be, on the Michelin site. They should have Runflat, ROF, TPC or something similar on the sidewall if they are runflats.

As far as I know, the PSSs are not runflats. Look at the sidewalls - it'll say if they are. It would be shocking to think a "BMW Service Advisor" might be wrong!!!

If anyone's interested in learning more about them, this video is pretty good. John's a little rough around the edges but, seemingly, very knowledgeable. I think he's funny.

Take it easy Tiger, the girl was new and probably didn't know. I get that and I will only further inquire at this point. No sidewall markings indicate run flats, so I know I am right. If it gets worse I will advise.
