Upgrade from 19” to 20” on my G05 build?

I have a build in process for a 2019 X5 xDrive40i. It’s getting ready to go into production and I have a short time to make changes.

I don’t know much about tires and rims. Just not my thing generally. I understand that this is the first year that a 20” wheel with all-season tires has been offered.

The 19" V-spoke wheels, style 734 with all-season run-flat tires come as the standard, but they also have a 20" V-spoke wheels, style 738 with all-season run-flat tires as an upgrade. It’s only $600 upgrade.
I have 19” wheels with all-season run-flat tires on my 2016 X5 currently. I do like the look of the 20” wheel the offer, but my question is will I notice much of a difference in ride characteristics between 19” and 20”? Are there any pros/cons I should be aware of?

Thanks.

Yes, go for it. You'll notice the difference. And it's much cheaper than buying 20's later on.

I looked at both the x line and m sport. The x line 20” looked much better than the 19” and the price was not that much to upgrade as indicated in prior posts. On the m sport, I looked at 21”, but the performance tires -> low mileage and being in the snowbelt - problems unless I changed tires during the winter...

Upgrade to 20”. You will be happier.

Go 20. 20s should have been standard for xLine.

Pro: Just looks proportionately better, G05 is huge and 19s are visually inadequate. For $600, it's less expensive than buying a set of 20 wheels and tires later on.

Con: None, besides snickers from other owners with 21s and 22s.

jk LOL, maybe just a little
