Need spare 8x18 wheel
I want to carry a spare tire/wheel for my 162's on my 330 xi. Current wheels have different offsets, fronts have 34 mm, and rears have 37 mm. I want a spare wheel that can be obviously used in either position. I have done the search, but did not find the info I needed. Which offset wheel do I need for both applications and where is the best place to get a cheap steel or alloy spare? ANY info would be appreciated. Thanks........

If its a spare, you shouldnt be driving it for a long time, enough to get your original tire repaired. Just get the 37mm and call it a day.

My dealer told me to call up some junk yards and look for a spare tire from a e46 Convertable. The convertables had smaller spares then the regular ones. I'm going to try that route. I'm also changing out from my run-flats for the summer.
