Tires in Seattle for a DD

At the M TYrack Days, Michelin had a representative there to answer questions. I queried him about the best tire to put on my M2.

He stated that if it was a daily driver than they A/S 3+ was the way to go. The only exception was if you were going to use winter tires. Then use MPS4s for summer and Alpina PA4s for winter.

He suggested using OEM sizes and not the M3 sizes.

Did he indicate they were planning to start making PA4's in the stock size?

No but said the M3 size would work fine on our M2s.

I ran A/S 3+'s for two winters on my 340i X-Drive. They were decent in wet and dry, but they weren't very good at all (even for all seasons) on the snow days we got during those two winters. I've driven a lot of all season tires on snow and I was a bit disappointed by them.
