recirculating air in car... question
I have habit of rolling down my windows while driving. Obviously I dont have the AC on that time. But if it is quite pleasant outside, still the car get warmer inside because of AC vents which throw the hot air inside. I ofcourse switch the Fan and AC off. But still there is little bit of heat coming outa the vents (unlike other cars that I own). Is there a way to 'totally' shut off the vents apart from the slider gauge manually
In my honda that I have, I just push recirculate button and switch off the fan and there is no air from outside.. whereas if i switch recirculate in my 335i.. it starts the fan..

What button do I press to bring the hot air from the engine bay inside the car?
I've been trying to figure that one out for a while!

LOL you know the BIG button on the AC with the word REST on it?
It only works if your car is off. uses residual heat from the engine to warm the cabin. Will not work if the outside temperature is at a certain level (To my knowledge) Also, when you're on WOT - you may/may not notice heat coming out of your vents - this is normal. |
