Fiber Reinforced Plastics Parts-FRP?

Anyone have any experience with FRP aero parts? Is it a good material for this application... I guess I am just looking for anyone experience with FRP parts...

I am seriously considering getting the FRP Amuse boot lid for my Coupe...
