Remus exhaust tips

Hey guys just wanted to ask what you guys would do. So I had a Remus axleback installed yesterday. And being my ocd self I was staring at the tips and realized that the left tip sticks out about 1/2 cm further out than the right one. Do you think it’s worth it to go to the installer to get it adjusted or is it unrealistic to expect perfect symmetry. Everything else was installed just right. Just wanted to know what you guys would do.

If the tips are slide-on like most are, you could either push the one that's out further back in if it's not already seated all the way, or pull out the one that is in further back out.

Agree with the last post, but if that doesn't fix it, it's not unreasonable to complain. I would notice it and it would bother me too.

I have the remus axleback. You should be able to easily get underneath, unscrew the E-Torx (assuming you have etorx socket) and adjust the tips at your whimsy.

If you dont have a tool for the job, then yea you might as well go and get the shop to take care of it.

From my recollection from when I installed mine, you can adjust the angle of the outlets, but I don't remember being able to adjust the length individually. Might have to get under there again to take a look.

Mine must be different. Just went to take a look. While the left side has a clamp for adjustment, my right side doesn't have a clamp for the tip and looks to be welded in place.

Isn’t that an adjusting screw right near the end at the bottom?

It's a rivet.

Ahh! You are 100% correct. Sorry about that. Only one side is adjustable

Probably no one is going to notice it but you. But if its going to bother you, the sooner you back to the installer the better

I just had Remus axleback installed. Right exhaust tip sticks out about half an inch farther than left one. This thread was useful and will get it fixed.....
