TVs Again....

Didn't want to thread jack Teastons one.

This is for Xmas 2xkids TV for room. Anyone seen any good deals for WiFi enabled smart TVs probably 40' 4K not essential.

Crikey, 40" is a bit big for a kids room isn't it!? I had a 14" when I was a kid!

You don't get out much, do you ? Next you'll be telling us that you never had Findus Crispy Pancakes when you were a kid - sheesh, the treats you've missed in life...

I always thought it was curry flavour, and I never fancy curry at lunch time! Turns out it doesn’t taste like curry at all, at least the fancy stuff at the afternoon tea (my first afternoon tea aswell btw) we had today didn’t, it was actually really nice!

What do they watch? Mine just use their iPads now - they can watch Netflix/amazon prime/now TV and stream the TiVo channels

Couple of brand new iPads would be £320 each - can’t see a 40” TV being much less than that

Chris

Sorry to be late to the party but I have been looking at Xmas presents for my grown up daughter who can only take a sub 49 inch tv in her lounge.

Which are quite scathing about 40-43 inch TVs probably because little technical input goes into them but I did spot the Toshiba 43U6863 in John Lewis - doesnt look as good as a LG OLED 65 inch of course - what does. If you look at user response in reviews, a lot of people are very happy with it.

Hey, £279 for a 4K TV and a 5 year warranty! Hope the kids get a TV they like!

TT

PS THE ONLY MISSING COMPONENT I COULD FIND IS THAT IT DOES NOT SUPPORT AMAZON PRIME VIDEO WITH THE APPS.

Don't know if you need sky or due a contract haggle if you do...but they are giving away a 43" LG TV with certain contracts on their black friday deal.

Buy a Roku express for £19, (4K version is £50) great streamer with all the main apps in one place, Netflix, Amazon, Now TV, iplayer, Google play store, Sky store, TV player, Rakuten, Spotify, Deezer. It can also search for films and tv shows over all the apps and compares prices.
