Scratch and PPF

Quick Question ....

I'm about to have the doors on my car PPF'd (rest of the car already has PPF) and one of the doors has a very thin scratch about an inch long that can't be removed as it penetrated the clear.

What's the best way to address this prior to installing the PPF? My detailer thinks he can work it with a little touch-up paint and sand and polish and then apply the PPF.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Every dealership has a relationship with a good paint shop. You should start there and learn the best options and costs for a proper repair.

You can get by with touch up paint, but you'll still see it through the clear bra. Reach out to a reputable body shop and see what they say.
