Recommendations on garages for AP Racing BBK fitting?

Hi All,

I am based in Bedfordshire and I am looking for a reputable garage to fit my new AP Racing front and rear BBKs to my M2 Competition when I pick it up on 1st March. Can anyone recommend any good garages? I am not sure if the garage necessarily has to be a specialist BMW garage (I have put another thread about this in the Brake section), but it would be good to hear if anyone can advice on a decent garage they have used, especially if they have had brakes fitted by the company they are recommending.

Cheers in advance,

Karl

Thanks. I did call them, but they won't do the work as they haven't supplied the parts, which I find a little short sighted. I have been speaking with a garage called BM Specialists in Hitchin and I think I am going to go with them. Lots of top reviews on Google and the specialise in German cars and BMWs in particular.

Make sure you keep the APs well clean of road salt with regular presssure washing. They're a race product not designed for regular road use.

They have no dirt seals on the pistons and the disc/bell floating connection will corrode and bind if salt gets left in there.

The whole things will be a mess if you don't look after them.

They don't put salt on race tracks!

Thanks Doughboy,
I've been advised that and I have pressure washer so I'll be using it on the calipers regularly 👍🏻
