F31 faulty mat seat-occupancy detection sensor
Hi everyone,
In my US-spec F31 (Leder Dakota/sattelbraun Exklusivna - LCLX, Seat Adjustm., Electr. W. Memory) the sensor mat for passenger detection got faulty - with the passenger seat empty it asks to fasten the belt. After quick googling I thought what I need is Sensor mat co-driver's seat identif. - 65 77 9 284 594 but then I saw the notice: "Sensor mats for USA passenger-side seat-occupancy detection are contained in the MG52 seat padding." What does it mean? Is there any option to replace the sensor without replacing the whole seat? Thank you |

I can't help with the question, but if you want to get rid of the warning buy one of these:
https://www.seatbeltextenderpros.com...belt-extender/ Shop around for the best price. It fools the system into thinking that the seat belt is fastened. If your passenger is on the heavy side they'll appreciate it too. |

In the event of an accident would be nice not to deploy the airbag unless someone is actually sitting there.
