Driver side mirror
My driver side mirror motor has died (apparently) and the cost to replace has been quoted at $845. Does that seem high considering the only thing being replaced is the motor? Thanks.

Depends exactly what they're doing, but you can probably save a lot doing it yourself and ordering the motor yourself.
Looks like the driver side mirror motor part # is 67137232743 (so something like https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/67137232743/) Here's the diagram: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_8136 And the steps to take it apart: 1. https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...soles/EIOF1mK5 2. https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...soles/EIfANsoV 3. Can't quite find the instructions for replacing the motor, but I'm assuming it's pretty self-explanatory. |
Appreciate
