Perhaps a clear gloss vinyl wrap over the parts might protect without losing too much of the appearance?

Paint Protection Film might work. The gloss black panel on the dash gets scratched too. I might attempt to do mine if the pieces are easily removable.

Polywatch, can actually help remove scratches (provided colour of plastic is not just a very thin layer). I use Polywatch to renovate vintage watch crystals (plastic/acrylic watch glasses). It is very effective and whilst I order it through watch part suppliers it is available on eBay. Polywatch works by mild abrasion and gently melting a micro-layer of plastic which is pushed back into scratch by rubbing. To protect, I would think plastic film.

You could also try toothpaste with a damp cloth. Rubbing in small areas to test. I've used that on watch crystals with good results. Plus your car will smell minty

It needs all the cavities it can get. Losing the under seat storage boxes sucks!
