Severe Xdrive tire wear

Looked at a X3d with about 19k on the clock yesterday. It was wearing one of the Michelin Primacy series of runflats and they looked trashed on the front. They were at 4/32 according to a depth gauge. Is that normal for one of these?

Thanks!

How were the rears? On my X3, the rears seem to wear more quickly. 4/32 is not worn out yet, so that means more than 20k on a set. I think runflats wear out faster. I don't know what the real-world average is, but I'm sorta thrilled to get more than 20k from a set of tires. I had an MB convertible with a V8 where the rears were down to the wear bars in 13k miles. Can't wait to see how long the tires on my 650i last.
