19" or 20" Wheels in Winter???

I just purchased an 05 X5 and I would like to replace the stock 17" wheels. Has anyone experienced 19" or 20" wheels in winter conditions on the X5? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

20" on winter is just nonsence the car acclerarates almost the same but then there's big problem with braking

The problem with wide tires in snow is flotation. They ride on top of the snow, like hydroplaning on water. Keep the stock 17" wheels for your snows, and the 20's for summer. You'll also appreciate the 17's when you hit your first pothole in spring!
