could a bad clock spring cause horn problems?
having intermittent horn issues with the e90. replaced both fuses but still have issues.
basically the horn is inconsistent, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I installed an aftermarket momo steering wheel about 3 months ago, it was working fine until recently. my question is, could a broken clock spring be causing the issue with the horn? i think i broke it while installing the momo steering wheel, but it hasn't really given me any problems, until potentially right now. |

Just a quick update. Was able to fix it.
It was a loose connection in the fuse box/relay box AND a loose connection on the wire going to the horn button. Have a great fckin shop - high tech alarms in Jersey City that figured it out and fixed it |

Hey man, how did they get to the fuse box relay? Are you referring to the one in the glove box? My horn stopped working, passenger restraint malfunction popped up and my steering wheel button stopped working. It might be due to that.

It was messed up in two areas. Glove box and at the horn on the steering wheel.
