BMW Connected App Linking Issues

I'm trying to set up another iPhone/BMW ConnectedDrive account as the Secondary Driver of my vehicle. When I go to add a vehicle in the app, it automatically finds my vehicle and identifies the VIN number, then continues to send a message to the vehicle with a PIN for identification. However, the message will not appear in Apps > BMW Messages in iDrive. I've tried re-sending, updating apps & services, restarting iDrive, etc. dozens of times.

Any suggestions or others with similar experience?
