You sure there aren't going to be any problems? I used to work at that hotel back when I was in college. Those managers there can be real dicks and will call the cops on just about anything. The garage belongs to the city but the hotel pays for the use of it for its guests. I have a strong feeling that all the cars flooding into their with their exhaust will have the cops there in 10-15minutes. I would go but don't feel like pissing off some cops to only get escorted out and tickets for too dark of tint, no front plate, etc....

1st Annual RKC Photo-Shoot Night Richardson Public Parking Garage 900 E Lookout Dr Richardson, TX 75082 (Behind the Renaissance Hotel) http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...3,0.22316&z=13 Friday, August 8th, 10pm-12pm This is a totally legal one time only car meet, IN A PARKING GARAGE. The specific purpose of this car meet is to do photo-shoots for individual cars inside of the garage, which has amazing lighting and cement structure. The garage is open to the public, 24 hours a day. Each car that comes in gets a ticket. Depending on how long you stay, you pay that much. Less than 30 minutes is free, up to an hour is .50cents, and 2 hours would be a dollar. I think everyone can afford that. I will personally be providing photography services for anyone who comes, but if any professionals would like to join in, or you want to bring your own camera, that is highly encouraged. The garage is very large, and we should have the top 3 levels to ourselves. There will be room for 100 cars. If you would like shots with a model, you will need to arrange for that yourself, but I will be happy to take the shots. No loud music will be allowed. This invitation is open to any and all cars that want to be photographed. As long as the rules are followed, we should be okay

Ya I read it but didn't see where it said he rented it out. All I see is it is 'open to the public'.

If it gets over 30 cars I will be calling the manager again to make sure we are OK. I cleared it already, but I want to make sure we are fine. I could pay in advance if we get enough cars and rent out the roof for a few hours.
heres the renting out part, just like blakepilot said, rkc meets are real organized and theres usually no problems.

Sounds interesting! In that RiceKillers link you provided, Jared said, "I am working on bringing out models as well, but its going to be a "pay them per shoot" kinda deal."...what kinda $$$ are we talking about? Ballpark figure please cuz I'm a cheapa$$! Now, if we were in SoCal then I could arrange to get some import models out there for us possibly (I know some peeps in the Hot Import Nights management)...but I don't know of many here in Dallas.

Thinking about it...but if there are too many cars (40-50+) then I'll pass. Too chaotic for me. I just don't want to be involved in something that makes car fanatics (like us) look bad. You know, if there are stupid kids out there doing burnouts, loud bass crazy music, fights, etc. I don't need more drama in my life.

how about we all meet up at a restaurant near the GTG for dinner/drinks around 9? that will give the stragglers ample time to show up and get a nice bavarian train going to the meet. how does that sound? any suggestions?
