put a K&N performance air filter in it, that's always the first thing I do. Then work on your exhaust.

ACS springs. Thicker rear anti-roll bar.
Need improve handling before considering a remap.
The lower look also takes care of the offending arch gap.

Lorcan is the man to order from / advise on approved garages.

Diesels run on excess air so a performance filter is of only one benefit. A non paper filter sometimes requires less cleaning but can be used again and again... clean it and refit. Make sure you go for a non-oiled one such as the piper cross foam filter. No oil means less risk of a ruined MAF sensor.

ACS Springs. First Impression. 435d X https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1511088

Photos attached of improvement on arch gap.

well that's what you need to do if you want it to look modified. a bunch of "performance" plastic trim can only do so much when you have small wheels and thick tires with a high ride height. you can see from Chelsea_Tractor post that springs and 19s completely change the car without all the other exterior bits.

Yeah I get where your coming from, however I think the car already looks low as it has a front lip and side skirts. The rear end is a bit high for my liking but I won't be compromising lowering it.

It's not a huge drop but the pay off is amazing in the handling department. Something to seriously consider. Lorcan has a demo car. That way you can make an informed decision. There is no point having a remap or upping the power if you cannot fully put it down on the road.

Okay, do you have any ideas on how much I will be looking at for lowering it ? ... roughly ?

Depends what you go for / your local labour rates. Eibach springs are cheaper by a few £100.

Mine was done by Mulgari in Bracknell.
ACS Springs. Rear anti-roll bar, spacers, wheel alignment and, labour came to £1100 if I remember.

Some don't go for the anti-roll bar so that will be a bit cheaper.

My guess is with Eibach you could get springs and spacers, probably less than £700 with fitting.

ACS gave me peace of mind though as you get a warranty.

It gets you started on the simple things, if you want to mod, these have to be done anyway.
