Defect with hard brake line....
Posting here for more exposure for now.
My friend and I were able to install three of the four stoptech stainless lines on the car but the left rear hard brake line looks to have a defect where it meets the nut... We were unable to loosen it even with pb blaster and we did not want to force it since it's a very delicate part and it would leave the car requiring a tow if it were to break. Wednesday I'm taking it to a shop that knows there stuff so we'll see what we can do but has anyone ever had this happen? It looks like the metal from the hard line fused with the nut or leftover from the cast in the factory was left on and hardened. We were able to get the stoptech line on but it resulted in the caliper being 90 degrees turned which was not fixable at all without that top nut being free to adjust the turn of the cable.
