Why does Apple Carplay interrupt my Sat radio when I'm listening to music? I will be listening to music and then it stops. Once I press one of my programmed buttons the music begins again.

Also, while waiting for my wife the music was playing and I loaded Twitter on my iphone. Then the screen on my phone flipped to my iTunes music app and the cars screen changed to the Carplay main screen.

Any suggestions?

You didn't say what kind of Head Unit you have idrive
or pro Radio though I assume its Idrive.
You could turn bluetooth off on your phone.

There is and idrive subforum where you might get
better answers.
