Any online places I can order one of these from or is it dealer only?

Will I had that short shifter on my E90.

I ordered it from Cotswold BMW - arrived within 2 days

Contact them here: http://www.cotswoldstore.com/PartsRequest.aspx

Fill in the form, they phone you back and give you a 10% discount because you contact them online!

Cost about £50 - brilliant mod, so much better than the longer stock shifter

Excuse the pun SoYank, but you literally yank the old knob out of the socket. One big thrust up towards the roof and it pops right out.

Place the new one on and push down. Takes 1 minute max

Ask them about pedals when they phone you. You will have more choice of pedals and better prices buying from someone like Teddy at SSDD-Motorsport http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/

But surely 10 short shifts are better than 2 long ones?

If you're referring to my impending 'alteration' Carlos, then yes, short shifts are the way to go.

Sensible knob talk - can't you get an ACS Short Shifter for the E90s? You could on the E46.

...and boys stop your "willy waving" if we'd have wanted to know we would have asked instead of hearing about it all on a sensible thread about someone wanting a short knob instead of a long one.

No point in asking ........you wouldn't get the truth and besides willhollin started the thread.......nuff said.

It's definately what they do with it that counts............oh and who or is that what it's attached to.
