Are Black Rims Easier to Keep Clean

Just as the title says, are black wheels easier to keep clean? I'm sure they hide brake dust better .

trick question!

they're no easier nor harder to keep clean than any other wheels for course

but you could definitely go much longer between washes (on an F90 without CCB brakes) before the wheels start looking like an ashtray no doubt!

The two tone wheels are easy to clean the silver parts, but both the two tone and all black have the same design and same difficult cleaning between and behind the arms. So to answer your question, hell no. Either is a pain to really get 'clean.' But I do my best. LOL. And I have two sets of the 20 inch two tone wheels. Much easier to clean when they are off the car.

Not sure they're easier to keep clean than any other color but they certainly appear cleaner from the darker color and hide dust better.

Garage List
They both equally suck to keep clean. Period.

When you are seeking perfection, as most of us are, the black rims are no different than any other color. Once they get dirty (I just drove 1000 miles in a week without a wash) the black rims hide the dirt much better. As others have said they start to look like a used ashtray.
