Anyone know what these 3 DME codes are?

I pulled the following 3 soft codes from BM3 diagnostics:

235410 ... no description available
21A110 ... no description available
138102 ... exhaust flap control; short circuit from ground
(did check my exhaust flap connector and all is connected)

235410 - Emergency operation manager. Request for idle speed increase from EME control unit.
21A110 - Engine torque limitation due to emergency operation request from EME emergency operation manager controller
138102 - exhaust flap activation: short circuit to ground

Found the cause of the 138102 exhaust flap short. It appears debris slit one of the wires at the connector to the actuator. Was able to remove (de-pin) the terminal from the connector. My local BMW dealer had a terminal in stock which I was able to make work. Soldered in a new wire and was goo0d to go.

If anyone needs the terminal part number it is 12 52 7 545 852. Had to modify it slightly.

Hi sorry to reopen,

I am getting code 138102 - exhaust flap activation: short circuit to ground

can i ask what is the problem is the actual exhaust flap or something else? How urgent do I need to sort such a thing out?

If the flap can't open you'll have a loss of performance under hard acceleration and when in Sport mode.

Also if you have "short circuit to ground" it could be draining your battery.
