BMW Connected Music

Hi all,

I don't yet have my car, but it will be here in a few weeks. I was watching a BMW 3 series video where the lady talked about Connected Music. She said that it used an embedded sim card to stream the music, you don't need a smart phone, no roaming costs.

Has anyone used this? Is it an app in iDrive? Does it work well? What are the costs?

It will be a game changer if you can stream music without using phone data just like Tesla model 3. Most of my data usage is from streaming music in car and it can get expensive if you use unlimited phone data plan. I would gladly pay for in car music streaming if it’s $100 a yr for Model 3.
