Seriously. It's a 12 year old 328, and unless the current exhaust or wheels are damaged there's really no reason to replace them. I have a 2006 325 and I constantly have to remind myself not to waste money on anything that is unnecessary. |

Considering that you just joined and haven't owned it for long, I would not spend anything on mods.I was surprised a year ago when the water pump died and it cost $1K to have it done. I usually DIY but I needed it running within days for an important meeting. I've done the project on an E46 but not an E92 and the parts would have arrived too late. A similar situation happened last October with the runflats, I was on a road trip and hit a pothole. The set were near the end of their life and it cost $1200 for a set of PS4s with an alignment.
My experience with BMW's over the past decade is to budget at least $100 a month to keep it running, that's in addition to the car note, insurance and gas and DIY most of the time. BTW, look up the golf tee mod if you want a little more raspy exhaust, it helps a 335 and may apply to the 328 also.
