this is insane. about 1,000 dollars for a shift knob, ebrake handle and an idrive cover???????? I'd rather take that money and spend on an Eisemann exhaust.

Whoa!! $936.00 for those items! My springs and shocks cost less than that!! Maybe ACS is having a contest with Dinan to see who get rip off the customers the most?

yea, acs stuff has always been expensive.

i still think dinan is a bit expensive, but after taking a tour of their main facility in morgan hill, i can tell you they do a shit load of r&d.

I agree some items are justifiably expensive as they require lots of R&D, items such as exhaust, intakes....etc.

But I really don't think much, if any R&D goes into making a shift knob, ebrake cover, and a toy wheel idrive cover.

If we 're-arrange' the MSRP for those items a bit, I think it makes more sense, i.e.

1.) Shift Knob (Universal): Original $311.00, Reality:113.00

2.) eBrake Handle (Universal): Original $205.00, Reality: 52.00

3.) iDrive Cover (e90/e87): Original $420.00, Reality: 42.00

It's the brand name of ACS, and the person who will buy these products is exactly the buyer ACS is looking for. I don't think it's pricy at all... its ACS. Not APC at pepboys.

Agree with you guys those are expensive

For those who OK with ACS, why dont ACS makes its own cars? They take other cars and make stuff for them, that supposed to be better then original. I don't get it.

i wasn't justifying the cost of the acs accessories. r&d comment was towards dinan only. imho, those acs accessories are a rip off too.
