BST code

I have an airbag and seat belt light on, there is a code for the BST but the car starts. I thought the car will not start if that pyro fuse is blown. Anybody had this issue? I've searched but most are saying their car will not start with it blown.

Check the cable near the battery if it’s disconnected or torn. It causes the airbag fault to light up ...

Your pyro fuse is not blown. It is just not sensed by the airbag computer thus the code. Check the 2 small wires going to it.

I'll double check the wires and clear to see if it goes away. IIRC last time I checked i wires were still in tact.

Problem solved, guess it was a loose connection there somewhere.. I cleared the code and drove it, hasn't come back on yet. I did read there is something wrong with the BST tabs on this forum, so it was probably the tabs.
