VRSF: Refund / Canceled Order

I ordered a charge pipe and pre-ordered the new downpipe offered. After asking for a tracking number I received a full refund on both items saying that the items will be delayed. I never even asked for a refund, just an update. Anyone else share this same this experience? I feel like I just floated the company $700 bucks for a few weeks without any return on investment.

In all honesty, I was very hesitant about ordering from the company and felt like I was going the cheap route and was unsure about their product. I suppose I will be going another direction.

It's weird that there was no follow up. I ordered directly from them before. And it was all very smooth. My only complaint was that one response that I received about the CP was a bit snarky. At least it felt like it. But that maybe that's a factor of using email.

Playing devils advocate, i could see it as an attempt to put you at ease, like he's not holding your money hostage.

I think that's normal, Many companies operate by not processing the transaction until the order is fulfilled or confirmed.

I recently ordered from x-HP and they kept the charge on my card after they contacted me and I asked them to continue with the order since it was out of stock.

I ordered an out of stock item from Tire Rack and they refunded me until the product was in stock, and they contacted me beforehand to confirm I still wanted it.

In the end it's just up to how each individual company does things.

That is good feedback. At the end of the day, I could just be pouting about not receiving parts after waiting.

Man what is going one with everyone waiting on VRSF. I've ordered a few items but via N5 Tuning and zero issues in the past year.

That's surprising to hear. I ordered directly from them a number of years ago and was very satisfied. In fact, most do speak highly of the product and the service received.

My charge pipe arrived in a timely fashion and fitment was spot on.

I do think you should have been provided with a reason because assumptions can be made and negative information can ensue and ruin a company's reputation.

OP, call around and ask if anyone has one in stock before ordering or consider another vendor altogether. You can even consider a pre-owned one. Its a non-wear item so you'll be ok if you go this route. Just make sure the metal ring that clips on to the TB is included.
