I'm looking to buy a set of wheels for winter tires - would I be able to buy almost any 18x8 5x112 wheel?

This is for my 2020 M340i (has not arrived yet) - My car doesn't have the ZTK, so an 18" wheel should fit.

I read somewhere though that the lugnuts might be different on the G20 and therefore - for example a VW or Mercedes wheel in 18x8 5x112 would not work. Is this true?

"any" is a stretch...

Have to make sure that the offset (for brake clearance) and hub size are correct... You should be able to use your existing lug bolts...

Got it - I was thinking more of buying some cheap OEM rims from Mercedes or VW off of eBay. I think the hub size are the same for Mercedes as BMW now.

BMW OEM rims in 5x112.0 right now are expensive - and for winter wheels, I don't really care too much - I would think OEM Mercedes rims would be decent?

Here are the specs of a set I'm looking at:

Size: 18x8
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
CB: 66.56
Offset: +35

I think those would work on the G20?

Our offsets are in the low to mid 20's...

with your 35 offset, they may not clear brakes and will be tucked in further for sure if they did clear...

would have to run spacers...
