How to tell if turbo seals are bad n54

Just wondering if there's a way to tell if there's a way to tell if my turbo seals are worn out or not. I know there the usual smoke from exhaust. But I still have all cats still. Looked around and said if you delete rear cats then normally you can tell because it will smoke. I still haven't deleted mine so was wondering if there's any other indication. Cause I don't want my car to smoke

Going fully catless will definitely highlight the problem.

The smoking gun, as it were, will be a massive smoke cloud on deceleration after boosting. It was typical for me that the smoke would come rolling past when I got to a red light.

My car doesnt smoke now. I just didn't want to go fully catless and find out it will be smoking.
