Brake Rotor Rubbing on Wheel

Something snapped or blew on my front passenger side and the brake rotor rubs against the barrel of the wheel. It only happens at low speeds but on higher speeds the clunking and rubbing noise seems to be less quiet. Any ideas what the problem is?

Sorry, I don’t think it is possible for the rotor to touch the wheel unless the rotor isn’t attached anymore. (Other than the mounting face)
Do you mean caliper? If you mean caliper than on of your slide pins is missing.

Ahh yeah that's what I thought cause the wheel moved with the brake rotor. I only see the mark left by the brake rotor on the wheel so I thought it would have been the brake rotor. I shall go check and report back.

The first two seem to be the most interesting. Also I always love a chance at seeing EU specced 1ers.

Agreed on the 1 hatchback...if we could get a 1M or 135 hatchback then I wouldn’t have needed to get a GTI...

I've seen the first gen 1er hatches driving around San Diego from time to time, with Mexico plates. Definitely got the noggin joggin, trying to figure out how I could purchase a 128i in Mexico, get it across and get it titled/registered in California as a coupe or something.

The only legal one I know of in the states is that weird RHD one that got imported from Scotland to somewhere in New England. Jalopnik wrote an article on it if i'm not mistaken.
