Mark's referenced thread shows the weights of the 19s. Any idea what the 18s weigh?

The shop will order below for me and I worry they might be wrong!
F 18", 225, 8.5 (offset 35)
R 18", 255, 9.5 (offset 35)
Appreciated if you can advise the correct spec of the VOLK rims.

E90 ( my current stock non sport wheels spec)
8Jx17",225/45 R17 tires

E90 ( stock sport wheels spec)
8Jx18",225/40 R18 tires
8.5Jx18",255/35 R18 tires

VOLK ME Rims the shop is going to order for me
8.5Jx18",225/40 R18 tires (offset 35)
9.5Jx18",255/35 R18 tires (offset 35)

I thought the VOLK ME rims I want should follow the stock sport spec ie
8Jx18",225/40 R18 tires
8.5Jx18",255/35 R18 tires

However, there may be a reason why the shop suggests 8.5 and 9.5 because of aligning the fender. The offset 35 is based on what it is suggested from Rays catalogue.

Sounds to me they just offered you the staggered setup. Many opt for that look unless they want to rotate tires easily. It's all up to personal style and how much trouble you want to go thru.

the more trouble the better. 19 fit more snug in the car but if u live in a shitty area then go 18 otherwise you will get pulled over 3x a day for suspected drunk driving swerving arround pot holes... like me!
