Cheap Blackline Lights

Just wondering about the Blackline lights, I've heard that you can paint or tint them smoked to get pretty much the same results, but cheaper. I know that Tightie tinted his and just want to know if someone has it done successfully and possibly provide a DIY.

you can't get the same results as blackline by tinting it as blackline's upper portions are white.

Correct canucklion, I wouldnt mind tinting my tail lights though, looks kinda ricey but i like the look.

Inside a blackline , the indicator light bulk is white.
The original indicator light bulk is yellow.

well its not exactly a tint on the lights its smoked tailight film from www.stickercity.com they have pre cuts and bulk film i had them do it for me at their shop in Van Nuys CA. if you cant tint your car yourself you cant smoke your lights.
