Replacement Tires

Question for the group, I have 16k miles on my 2019 X5 and are ready to replace the tires. I currently have the Continental Premium Contact 6 275/30 R22 Front and 315/35 R22 Rears. The only replacement tires that are available in those sizes are the Pirelli P Zero PZ4, and Pirelli P Zero All Season. I enjoy the performance tires over all season but have never had Pirelli's before. Michelin has always been my favorite however performance tires are not available in the rear size. Which tires would be a recommendation over the Continentals or should I stay with Continentals? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Already needing new tires at 16K miles? Not a good sign. I have never had good luck with Contis. Had them on my Range Rover Sport back when I lived in FL and they would flat spot just sitting overnight. I have the 21" PZero PZ4s on my 2019 GO5 and they have been great. Handling is good, they are quiet and they look great. Only 8K miles on them so we'll see how they last. I too prefer Michelin.

i just posted something similar, should of first...

We have 21" PZero PZ4s and we like them, but looking for all season that will last a little longer or other better options. its the wife's daily and her driving is not as extreme as other. she doesnt drive like a "racer"

so I posted a reply earlier but the forum app seems to be having issues.

I still have 7/32 front /6/32 rear tread after ~8k miles but I took that set off due to road debris taking out my front tire. I have the 3 old ones in my garage. There are no good options for tires so I stick with the OEM Pirelli PZ4 Run flat (yes that's what they actually are). I'm hoping Michelin makes some Pilot Sport AS 3+ for the 21" wheels because those are great year round tires if it doesn't snow.

I have £30k miles to do with the car before I change it, so I'll probably change them at the £20k miles mark as well, so I can enjoy new tyres, without having to return the car with brand new boots at the end!

Speaking of ladies not driving like maniacs (like us ;-)) my wife is pretty steady BUT she likes to accelerate in roudabouts. I can tell you the tyres don't like that, at all!
