Hello everyone,
I recently bought a BMW F30, and still has the old version of the navigation. I downloaded Premium Western Europe 2019-2 and formatted the usb stick by FAT32, but it is still not working at all. And i tried the glovebox usb and also the usb port in the middle console but both of them without luck😢 Can somebody help me out please? Regards |

What happens when you plug the stick in. Also on the stick, certainly for the next maps there should be folders like 1, 2, 3 etc is that what you have?

No idea for that version to be honest. Is there anything at the pkgdb folder level? If not it might be worth moving everything in that folder to the top level and trying the stick again?

Your screenshots all look correct.
Some people say it can take a couple of minutes to se the USB drive (use the glovebox one) I had loads of problems with my E84 not recognising the USB stick. The fault, in the end, was one of the pins in the USB slot had been bent back. I was lucky and was able to fix it with a strong paper clip and a very fine screwdriver. If the USB stick doesn't feel like it goes all the way in and has a bit more wiggle than feels normal it might be worth checking for a bent pin. I'm not the first that this has happened to. |
