Speed Unlimited & Capital Raceway

I first went to Capital Raceway on saturday to check out the track. very interesting....... I thought I was in a different world for a minute. Um yeah, i was the only bmw there, i think I was the only non american car there. I only went to check it out cause I was in the area. Anyway, they had an opened track day where you paid $30 and you got to run, from what i could tell, all day if you wanted to. First time I had ever been to a drag strip.

Afterwards i went to speed unlimited over by Andrew AFB main gate. Very cool shop, they had quite a bit. I picked up a bottle of Torco Octane booster and added to my tank last night. I should be running about 100 octane at the moment. I will update with some thoughts after i finish the 1/2 tank of gas.

I went to OG racing out in sterling a little while back. SU had a lot more to look at, though OG had quite a few adult baby seats to try out

I had to thnk for awhile about what you meant by Adult baby seats
... it took awhile to registers but I got the drift

They are nice to have for a full out FATT

getting a little better on my mpg btw, I notice if I put in in 6th asap and just try to leave it there, I average 2+ mpg. DUHHH!
But the drawback is non-spirited drive though.

I can tell you that so far it definitely improves low end torque. Not by a huge amount, but it is noticeable.

No kidding! way to go!

how much do you put in?
.. maybe its worthwhile to use it per tankfull on a FATT. Whats the octance like 100+ ?

I can just imagine the smiles and giggles it will put someone face.

we can perform a road test between the two of us to see how much of a difference it is.

its really funny you said that, coz I met a good friend HerrSchnell yesterday at Fairfax Cormer yesterday. He was surprise to see me in the new /M and had asked for a ride.

He being a fellow bimmer enthusiast, I had to show him some torque and a smokey bear was driving twds us, but on the other side of median. We had to floor it and make a quick hideaway before he can make the U turn to get us.

It was classic!

But sure, the long wkend is coming up love to drive and maybe include it with my schedule bike ride

I just finished off the second bottle today. I would say, try one bottle for yourself and see.
