New Cockpit Rear Entertainment System

So with the new cockpit idrive the rear entertainment system is completely different also. Firstly no more remote control! You can control it from the front and then share it to the screens behind. You can also setup theatre or private viewing. Private viewing uses the headphones. The headphones come with the car are KLEER headphones.

I've got one problem - I can't get the headphones to pair with the car - anyone managed this?

Neil.

What headphones did you get? I think there's only 1 model from BMW that works.

I stupidly chucked the manual though - what does it say about paring?

Can you post some videos/screen grabs? Are they touch screen? I'm not a fan of the remote in my 2018, but besides that they are pretty fantastic. Especially compared to my Lincoln Navigator's which can't even push audio through the car speakers.

It is not touch screen but my 8 year old daughter had no problems using the wireless remote. That said, I have never used the system and to be honest, I have never even sat in the back of the car while it had been driven.
I daughter does like the system over my wife's Lexus.
