Deals in Denver for remaining '08s v. ordering '09
Deliberating on pulling the trigger on remaining '08 M3 Coupe in Denver (some dealers appear to have several of them, new) or just ordering '09. Thoughts?
Guess trying to balance between a potentially good deal on '08 (to move it) or new features on '09 (i.e.; 2nd Gen iDrive). Some of the '08s I've looked at have Prem, Tech, Winter, iPod, and MCDT, so clearly well equiped. |

By, having the new iDrive, you will have the first edition of the new Idrive which will probably have issues associated with new Technology. The interior is actually worse on the new car due to the new active head restraints which aren't as nice looking as the ones in the '08. The iDrive knob is IMO, more fussy and less clean than the current one.

Thanks. Great point on the iDrive - seems to have a good interface, hard keys, etc., hear great things, but how well does it really work.
Regarding the Active Head Restraints, what's the issue, haven't seen them. Bulky? |

I got my '08 at invoice. I don't see any major advantage of the '09, although I'd like to see the face lift in person. Didn't they also raise prices 2.5% on the '09 models? I'll bet you see great financing/leasing incentives as the '08 supply dwindles down in Colorado this Fall.

I'm still debating. So far they're talking $2-2.5K off sticker for the '08s. But as they're test driven the mileage is starting to rack up. Agree with you, their going to start moving them. Fair amount of inventory/options. They don't move enough, I'll just waint on the '09. I've got the "itch" to get back in an M (had a '97), but I'll wait, if necessary. |

New iDrive is awesome!

It's not a first edition of a new technology at all. Remember, BMW introduced iDrive 7 years ago! The new iDrive is not only seamless to use, but it now works off a dedicated hard drive thats much faster than prior ('08) iDrive versions. Also, the screen is larger and better resolution. Regarding iDrive alone, it's worth ordering a 2009! |

Best deal on $$ over invoice for Denver area for 2009?
New to the site and the area. Lookin for a M3 Sedan with DCT. So far two dealers have been around $1500 under MSRP for ordering one which is about $4000 over invoice for the car I'm looking at. I noticed in CA and AZ that people are getting them for $500 to $1000 over invoice. There's about 4 dealers between Denver and CO Springs. Any suggestions? I'll be ready to order shortly.

So what did you decide? I am also looking , but I'm not convinced it will be much of an improvement in daily driving over my current sled. (335xi with stage 2 dinan and coilovers.)

Nothing yet. Still trying to sell my 07 Lexus IS350. I have read on several threads here that people are getting as good as $500 over in CA but Denver doesn't have that much competition. I'm also hoping for .9% financing and maybe the 1 day M school on 2009's. I'm hoping ColoCane and I can tempt some dealer with 2 M3 purchases.
