Expert Coding and Bimmercode updates
Is there a guide anywhere to take advantage to the expert mode? Also does this app ever get updated. Coding for the G30 seems limited.

I'd love a guide to expert mode too! I've been told to stay away unless you know what your doing in expert mode, as in people having to have car flat bedded to dealer after a misstep in expert mode

Keep ASD off, No disrupt windows up if door is opened No honk if engine is on and you lock it, Default driving modes, close trunk with key, Quick open shut windows with key, Hold last settings and some others I find great if you have it No warning on start up, Couple others I do but can't remember

No, unfortunately not. Exporting a profile only does things like radio presets, seat memory, etc. My cars tend to go in for service often (either I'm extremely particular or just have a bunch of bad luck, or both) and so I've gotten pretty good at coding the car quickly.
I used to use the esys program to code, and it is a real PITA and Bimmercode is a lot better. Sure, there are some things that require "expert mode" but I don't think any of them are worth the trouble. Me, personally, YMMV, etc. I did kinda brick my F30 once (turned out not to be a brick but still scared the bejeezus out of me) so I've always been very extra special careful. Just stay out of the advanced section.
